Webinar Description:

Restraint and Seclusion is a hot spot with both the Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS. This presentation will cover all of the changes that will be surveyed in hospitals after July 1, 2009 by the Joint Commission. These new changes were made by TJC to bring their standards in closer alignment with the CMS restraint standards. CMS issued over 50 pages of restraint standards last year on April 11 and October 17, 2008. Restraint and Seclusion is one of the most difficult of all the standards and regulations to comply with.
